Congrats to Chetan and his family on installing the largest high efficiency solar power system in the country! We at GeoPeak are proud that Chetan chose us for such an endeavor. His 62.4 kw system consists of 260 high efficiency solar modules on various ground mounts. This system is going to supply 99% of the home’s electricity needs.
Such a large system is going to have ample positive effects on the environment. In its 25-year lifetime the system is going to offset 1,317 tons of CO2 emissions, the equivalent of 2,633,836 pounds. That amount of CO2 weighs more than 250 elephants! That is the same amount of CO2 emission from not driving 5,356,680 miles in a mid-sized car.
